Typically, this is how work on your website proceeds:

Requirement analysis: In a detailed chat with you, we arrive at exactly what you need in your website - the various functionalities (email, shopping cart, discussion forum, chat facility, blogs, news, ads....), design, content orientation and frequency of updation. We have a formal sign-off on this so that the rest of the cycle goes through smoothly and swiftly.

Domain Name: The next step is to decide on your domain name, check its availability, consider alternatives if required and then book it for hosting your website.

Designing: Based on your inputs in the requirement document, we design a few base website templates for you to select one from. Modifications can be made to the selected template as per your taste, of course. We will also design your logo, motto, presentations/illustrations and other custom design material as per your specifications. These design services of ours are on offer as standalone services too. We use FLASH and/or PHOTOSHOP for our designing work.

Technicalities: Once you have approved of a template, and/or other design details, we do the technical stuff such as conversion to HTML, configuring the website for display in different browsers, creating a text-only version if you wish, and attending to other technical details for getting it ready to go live.

Website Content Writing: Simultaneously, we put together the actual text of the website, the content. We collect data from you based on which we get the content written. We can also include the results of our own research as relevant. Search engine optimization - an important aspect of Internet marketing - as realized through text will be incorporated in the content writing that we do for you.

SEO: This is a process for increasing the visibility of your website on relevant user searches. It involves complying with design and content guidelines, technical guidelines and quality guidelines (click here for an example) set by various popular search engines. How to go about this will be defined by researching the history of visits/hits on your website and their sources, and the products and services you offer.

Quality Management: We now check and re-check every aspect of the services we have provided you to make sure that they are valid, reliable and satisfactory. This involves various activities like checking each link to make sure it points to the correct content, checking design details, functionality, and page rank on popular searches.

And finally, your site goes live! There will still be a lot of work to be done in term of updations, feedback and follow-up and adding of functionality depending on user responses. We will do this too for you as per your requirement and convenience
